TWILIGHT UPDATE

To all our clients past present and in the future, due to the situation of uncertainty within the charter market the owners have decided to give Twilight a gentle rest for the summer season.

This we fully understand has disappointed one or two of our clients, but on consultation with brokers and the general concerns of self-isolation both arriving on Twilight and on clients return to their own countries it was felt that this was the best thing to do for all.

This will allow us to carry out a summer mini refit of the interiors and behind the scenes maintenance which will enhance the Twilight experience to an even higher level than before.

We are maintaining the core crew Captain Kathy, relief Captain Lou and our engineer Gonzo, they will be overseeing the works and ensuring Twilight will be ready for the Caribbean season arriving in the Caribbean for the Christmas period.

We are looking forward to welcoming on board new crew, with a new Chef, chief stewardess, and stewardess. These will be handpicked by Captain Kathy and the owners to ensure they meet with their stringent standards and provide you with the service you have enjoyed previously if not better.

We have also placed the order for a new Titanium main sail with the Twilight logo emblazoned across its 403 sqm (4337 sq ft) of sail so she will look more spectacular at full sail.

We are also looking at extending our charter area whilst in the Caribbean perhaps as far as the San Blas Islands, the Cayman Islands or Turks and Caicos Island chain not forgetting the ABC Islands, but that needs to be confirmed in regards to logistics, and the ability of clients to board in these locations.

Captain Kathy has now been ordained as a minister who can perform marriages at sea which is something she has always wanted to do and what could be more spectacular than that for those who want a small intimate gathering in and on a stunning location.

So we have a lot to do but we have given ourselves time to do this and let the crew do it within a period of time which will ensure the works are completed well and on time in a relaxed manner.

Currently she is at berth just outside Barcelona whilst we find the right marina to enable us to carry out the works planned.

We shall keep you all updated as to her progress whilst works are being undertaken.

Kind regards and keep safe.
On behalf of the owners and crew.
